Libraries are an important part of the community fabric of Mountain View County and its partner urban municipalities. The County provides funding for local libraries through a per capita requisition with Parkland Regional Library System, which oversees the local libraries.
The County also provides direct funding to the libraries through inter-municipal partnerships with urban neighbours. Mountain View County residents are all welcome to visit and take out memberships at their local library. Book borrowing and other resources are available at all the area locations.
