Effective August 1, 2023, Mountain View County handles dog control services (within the County), internally.

Please note, Mountain View County provides dog control services exclusively and does not offer services related to cats.

If you are a resident or dog owner in Mountain View County, please make sure to familiarize yourself with the new contact information.

Dogs currently in possession of Mountain View County Animal Control:

Feb 20, 2024 (8:00 a.m.): Do you recognize these dogs?

These two were found together east of Olds near Range Road 285 & Hwy 27. No ID was found on either of them. The male is a Border Collie mix and the female is a Husky mix. Both are under 1 year old. They are now in the care of Mountain View County Animal Control.
