Join us this Saturday, October 7th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Thanksgiving market. A variety of goods and products available. Friendly faces and good conversation too. All takes place at the Bergen Community Hall.

Annual Turkey Dinner is Sunday, October 15th from noon until 5 pm at the Bearberry Community Hall. Cost is $15 for adults, $6 for kids, and under 5 years old is free. This is an “All You Can Eat” event!

The Cremona Curling Club’s AGM is set for Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 7:30 pm at the Curling Club Lounge. The Cremona Seniors Curling Annual Meeting will be held the next day, Thursday, Oct. 19th at 1 pm, also in the Club Lounge. All interested curlers are encouraged to attend either or both meetings! Join the Sundre Pioneer Museum for the 2nd Annual Fiddlers Barn Dance on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Eagle Hill Memorial Community Centre.

Dinner, dance, bar, silent auction and fun for the whole family. This is a museum fundraiser for a new addition.

Join us in welcoming LION BEAR FOX back to the Sundre Arts Centre! These Canadian Folk Rockers are local favourites! Enjoy this incredible performance in our intimate setting with table and chair seating. Doors Open at 7 PM and the Concert starts at 8 PM. This event is hosted by the Sundre & District Allied Arts Society - a registered non-profit and charity. We are grateful for support from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts and the Town of Sundre.

Tools to Build Your Cow Herd
Olds College
Tuesday 9 am to 5 pm

This workshop will discuss how genetic and genomic tools can help identify superior animals to develop a productive and profitable cow herd. With weather related challenges in recent years there is a huge variability in feed supply and quality; speakers will discuss potential health and nutrition related problems producers may face this winter and how to minimize difficulties during calving and breeding seasons. A local veterinarian will speak on local health issues and concerns.

Pre-registration is required; includes lunch and nutrition breaks. Cost is $30 per person, Registration deadline is Tuesday, October 18th.
