Don't get left in the dust...
Mountain View County is now accepting applications for the 2017 Residential Dust Suppression Program.
The fee for "Spring" dust suppression material will be $592 (plus GST) for a distance of 200 metres at a rate of 2L/m2. Distances beyond 200 metres will result in an additional charge of $2.96 (plus GST) per metre.
All applicants requesting "Spring" dust suppression shall complete a Dust Suppression Agreement, which can be obtained as follows:
- The online Dust Suppression Agreement
- At the MVC Office (address 1408 - Twp Rd 320)
- Calling the MVC office at 403-335-3311 to have an agreement email or faxed
- Using one of these downloadable forms: Dust Suppression Agreement (Word) Dust Suppression Agreement (PDF)
The first "Spring" application of dust suppression material will be applied after the removal of the Spring Road Bans on June 5, 2017 should conditions allow.
The application deadline for the Dust Suppression Program is end of day Friday, May 19, 2017. No late applications will be accepted after this date even if done through the online agreement.
