Agricultural Funding

Mountain View County
recognizes the need for funding Agriculture Related Projects to serve the needs
of the County's Agricultural population. The Agricultural Service Board (ASB)
has a grant program for Agricultural Related Projects that support Agricultural
development through education, youth engagement, events and other related
projects. This funding is available to groups, associations or non-profit
societies that have been in existence for at least two years and operate within
Mountain View County.

Requests must be made in writing and include a statement
describing the Agricultural related project and the benefit it will provide.
The approved funding may be used for education, supplies, contracted services,
scholarships, sponsorship, equipment, installation and site preparation.

All funding applications will be forwarded to an ASB Meeting for
review for funding consideration. Additional information and/or a presentation
may be requested. Please click the below links for more information.

·      Application (Word): 2017 Agricultural Grant Application Form

Requests for Agriculture
Related Project Funding must be made in writing to the Agricultural Service
Board at Mountain View County, Postal Bag 100, Didsbury, Alberta T0M 0W0.

Once the annual approved
budget is spent for Agriculture Related Projects no more projects can be funded
for that budget year, therefore please submit your project fund request prior
to March 10, 2017.

4-H Youth Leadership and
Development Funding

Mountain View County is offering funding for local 4-H groups,
to go towards Youth Leadership and Development. We are offering $100.00 to each
club that submits a written letter request from one of the youth members that
includes a brief summary of the 4-H Club, how the funding will contribute to
the annual public speaking event or other applicable activity.  This
program is offered year round, pending budget approval, and does not require an
application form.
